CorrosionX® Aviation offers the latest advances in FTFC (Polar Bonding and Fluid Thin Film Coating) technology and was specially developed for the military and civil aviation industry to displace moisture, immediately stop corrosion and provide lasting protection. CorrosionX® Aviation is entirely made in the USA and is compliant with MIL-PRF-81309 Rev. H Type II (supersedes and replaces MIL-PRF-81309G, MIL-PRF-81309F, and MIL-C-81309E) for corrosion protection and control certified in airframes - and now also for civil aviation. All CorrosionX® Aviation products and application devices that are used extensively by both the US military and NATO forces have been assigned National Warehouse Numbers (NSN) by the General Services Agency (GSA) and can be obtained through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). CorrosionX® Aviation is the only product available to the public that meets the strict new requirements of the US Navy for corrosion protection and control (MIL-PRF-81309H).
Area of application aviation:
For interiors of airframes or rotor heads, battery areas, hinges, cables, wheel hubs, or z. E.g .: trimming drum drives. Ideal for exhaust and turbocharger components. In particular, it can also be used for electrical and avionic components as well as for microswitches, cannon plugs, antenna sockets, circuit breakers and busbars. CorrosionX® Aviation has a minimal impact on the environment. From 2017 the content of volatile organic substances (abbreviated as VOC or VOC) has been reduced to ZERO. Compare this to other popular airframe corrosion inhibitors that can contain up to 58% VOC *.
